At Yela Pergolas we want this site to be usable by anyone, with or without a disability. We treat accessibility as part of the work, not as a review you pass once.
Standard we follow
This site is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
Conformance status
Partially conformant: the site meets level AA except for the limitations listed below. It is checked with automated tools and with a manual pass using a keyboard and a screen reader, because automated tools catch fewer than half of the real problems.
What is in place
- A skip-to-content link and full keyboard navigation, with the focus always visible.
- Contrast verified in both the light and dark themes, and checked automatically on every code change.
- Alternative text is mandatory on images: an image without a description blocks publishing the content that uses it.
- Forms with associated labels and errors announced to screen readers.
- The system preference for reduced motion is honored by every animation.
- No information is conveyed by color alone.
Known limitations
Published videos do not carry captions yet, so their spoken content is not available as text. No information needed to request a quote depends on a video alone.
How to report a problem
If you run into a barrier on this site, write to us and we will fix it. Tell us which page you were on and what stopped you. We reply within five business days.
